Delicious and nutritious energy balls. Perfect for breakfast or a healthy snack anytime.
If you prefer to skip the glaze, roll balls in cinnamon and a little extra Vanilla Hol Food.
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup rolled oats
- 1 scoop of Vanilla Hol Food
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup nut or seed butter
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- For the glaze: 2 tbsp maple syrup & 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
Instructions
- Combine all dry ingredients in a food processor and mix
- In a bowl, combine dry ingredients with nut/seed butter, vanilla extract & maple syrup
- Mix together and roll into 1-2 inch balls
- Freeze for 30 minutes
- Combine melted coconut oil and maple syrup in a small bowl
- Once frozen, roll each ball in the glaze mix and freeze for an additional 3 minutes
- Repeat 3-4 times until glaze is as shown
- Store and keep refrigerated for up to 3 weeks
